About YNPD

Youth Network for Peace and Development (YNPD) is a youth-led, humanitarian, not-for-profit organization committed to building a just, inclusive, and progressive society in Mahottari district and beyond.

Since 2066 B.S. (2009), YNPD has served as a collective platform for young people, promoting youth leadership, peacebuilding, social development, and community empowerment. Our work focuses on youth empowerment, governance, education, health, sanitation, safe drinking water, climate change adaptation, and livelihood promotion.

Through our cross-cutting approach integrating gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), climate action, and human rights, YNPD strives to institutionalize sustainable development. We actively mobilize young people for community development, advocate for youth-friendly policies, and create opportunities for meaningful participation in local governance and decision-making.
